You need a lot of coordination if playing on your own and a lot of communication when playing cooperatively. The audio and visual design are fantastic (especially the catchy soundtrack) and the chaotic conjoined gameplay is a lot of fun. As well as being able to roll, you can jump, stick to certain surfaces and fling your characters using the elastic rope. The Fling to the Finish Alpha demo features four differently themed levels, which see you attempting to guide your conjoined characters to the end of a large obstacle course as fast as possible.

You can play it in single-player and competitive multiplayer, with you controlling each character with the left and right analogue stick, or you can play cooperatively, with each player taking control of a single character – which is when communication really is key. Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer when it was in Pre-Alpha, Fling to the Finish is a physics based platformer where cooperation (with yourself or other players) is key.

Fling to the Finish is a wonderfully chaotic cooperative or competitive physics based platformer where players control two ball-like characters that are tied to each other with a stretchy elastic rope.
